Taster at Solihull Hospital

What a night we had on Tuesday 30th October when I
chaired the taster session at Solihull Hospital,
the purpose of which was to see if the staff wanted
a speakers club within the hospital environment.
The evening was a taste of what Speakers Club can offer and by the end there was considerable interest for stating a new club.
The evening saw 8 visitors with contributions from members from Solihull and Yardley. There were speeches and evaluations and a topics session where 5 of the 8 had a go.
The evening was light hearted and fun with a great deal of laughter and much enthusiasm to start a new club.
The next step is to find a venue so watch this space!!!
